Stated Book Club Edition. The "Beginner Books / I Can Read It All By Myself" with the Cat in the Hat logo was a book club for the early readers founded by Dr. Seuss (Theodor Seuss Geisel).

Illustrated hard boards [some wear, paper covering of the front board has damage: see photo]; 6.3/4" x 9.1/4"; illustrated endpapers, "Mary Burton" is written inside front cover, unpaginated, 64 pages, fully illustrated, very good condition.

Three animal friends practice balancing apples on their heads in this hilarious introduction to counting. This hardcover picture book teaches all about numbers, with a dose of signature Seuss charm. Kids will learn to count to ten--and want to start all over again!
