The Desperation, 3 parts, oil on panel, dated 1968. Dimensions left panel 183x102 cm, middle 183x197 cm and right panel 183x102 cm, total 183x400 cm. Origin of the work is the Eusebiuskerk in Arnhem. The work was a gift from the FNV to Piet van Leeuwen in 2005 and has hung in the Council Chapel of the Eusebiuskerk in Arnhem for years. Now that the church has undergone a beautiful restoration, the work may be repurposed. The proceeds will go entirely to the Eusebius Arnhem Foundation. With this proceeds they will have a number of historical objects restored that tell the story of the Eusebiuskerk.
