Very detailed pendant of a couple, dated and signed by the Antwerp painter Theodore Cériez. Oil on panel, working in generally good condition, only above the signature, a small spot on the varnish, in both works. Delivered in a heavy wooden gold-plated frame. T. Cériez, (1832 - 1904) Poperinge - Ieper, a Belgian genre painter, partly trained at the academy of Antwerp, made study trips in Paris, listed in Piron and RDK.
