Théophile François Somme (1871-1952) "Dénicheur d'aigles" 97 cm 27 kg A sculptor of statues, he was born in Nancy in 1871. He exhibited in Paris at the Salon des Artists Français, of which he was a member from 1899. In 1902, he received an Honorable Mention, in 1924, a Silver Medal, in 1925, a Gold Medal. In 1937, he was awarded a Gold Medal for the International Exhibition, off-competition. The eagle finder appeared at the Salon des Beaux Arts in 1899 and 1900.
