Rubbing and light wear to binding, hinges cracked but holding soundly, contents unevenly toned, with occasional wormholes, pale spots, and marginal dampstaining, a small tear to title page near gutter, manuscript ownership annotations.
The first of three books by Thevenot about his Levantine travels and the only one issued during his lifetime. This book includes his descriptions of Constantinople, the Aegean Archipelago, Asia Minor, and Egypt. Blackmer 1650; Röhricht 1104.
