£3,000

Third Reich RAD (Labour Service) Leaders Dagger with Hanging Straps by Robert Klaas, Solingen, fine example with two piece white grips, plated eagle head pommel and cross guard with organisation emblem to the centre. Housed in its original scabbard with much of the original finish remaining. The dagger is accompanied by a fine pair of brown leather officers hanging straps which have the additional thick leather belt loop fitting which is rare to find. The blade remains in near mint condition with much of the original finish and cross graining. Blade has motto 'Arbeit adelt' and the makers trademark to the reverse. The blade measures 25 1/2 cms, overall 40cms. Dent to the rear of the scabbard but otherwise a excellent example overall.
