Third Reich SA (Sturmabteilung) Dress Dagger by SMF, Solingen, superb example of an untouched SA dress dagger with a deep cherry red wooden handle, nickel silver eagle and enamel SA emblem. All the fittings have a uncleaned / nicotine like patina. Attached to the anodised scabbard is a single leather hanging strap and the grip has the additional leather strap, making it a two part hanger. The blade is in mint condition, retaining nearly all the original polished finish and cross graining. Standard motto, 'Alles fur Deutschland' and makers trademark to the reverse. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37cms. Overall a fantastic example of a SA dagger.
