Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Dress Dagger by RZM, untouched example with the ebony grip having nickel eagle and enamel SS runes emblem. Unmarked lower cross guard. Housed in the original scabbard. Some denting to the ball on the lower scabbard chape. The blade remains in near mint condition with the motto 'Meine Ehre heist Treue' and the reverse with RZM mark, SS runes and number 807/36. The exterior fittings have a lovely uncleaned patina. Some chips and scratches to the grip but overall a very good untouched example. Blade measures 22cms, overall 36 1/2 cms.
This dagger was brought home from Germany by the vendors father. His father was working as an interpreter after the war finished and was surrendered this dagger.
