Third Reich SS (Schutzstaffel) Enlisted Mans Dress Dagger by Bertram Reinh Sohn, Solingen, untouched example of an enlisted mans dress dagger with ebony grip having nickel silver eagle and enamel SS runes emblems. Nickel mounts with the reverse of the lower mount being stamped 'W 3'. Housed in the original anodised scabbard with some denting to the lower ball mount. Double edged blade with motto 'Meine Ehre heist Treue' and the reverse of the blade has makers trademark. Some surface staining and spotting to the blade. The blade measures 22cms, overall 37cms. Generally a good example by a rare to find maker.
