In the Chinese Export taste, comprising sixteen 9 3/4 plates and nineteen 9in plates; red painted FRANCE.
Condition Report: Overall with pinprick dimples to glaze. Wear, rubbing and some loss to the decoration from use, including stacking wear and scattered abrasions. Some fleabite nicks to edges of rims. Some glaze pooling to the undersides. Some filed down popped air bubbles. A few plates with heavy losses to the decoration. One plate has two hairlines extending from rim, approximately 2in in length. One plate with heavier stacking wear and chip to underside of rim. One plate with restoration to a small section of the rim (approximately 2 x 1/2in, but overpaint extends further) and hairline in the area (approximately 3in) extending from the rim. One plate with two hairlines, the longest approximately 3in in length.
