Condition Report:
Fine condition overall. The canvas has been re-stretched. Scattered in-painting along the outer edges of the canvas and throughout the sky. Craquelure throughout, enhanced along the bottom of the canvas. A thin layer of old varnish has been applied. Inscribed on an old label, on the back board, “DELSNFn/9111.” Painting retains its original gilded frame. Age-related wear along the edges of the frame with minor chips at the top. Some rusting is present. Inscribed in pencil at the interior top left of the stretcher, “#4499.” There is an illegible old blue-bordered label on the back of the stretcher bar.
