Depression-era Dust Bowl scene depicting a farmer in a cowboy hat seated on a barrel and gazing at three pigs, foreground, a farmhouse encircled by a dirt road below a cloudy sky in the background. Signed "Benton" lower right in the stone and in pencil, lower right margin. Includes original brown paper frame backing with artist information label. Retains original mat. Sight - 10 1/2" H x 13 1/8" W. Mat - 16 1/8" H x 18 3/4" W. American, second quarter 20th century.
