Pencil-signed "Benton" in the lower right margin. Full sheet (22" x 27") with deckled edges, housed in a glazed frame measuring 27 1/2" x 30 3/4".

Of the imagery depicted, Benton commented: "Youth Music attempts to portray the 'swing' of the youthful combos which have sprung up everywhere in late years. I have tried to suggest also the frequent audience participation in their performances."
