Provenance: With Thomas Agnew & Sons, London, no.34103.; Private Collection, UK, since 1971.; By descent. Exhibited: London, Thomas Agnew & Sons, 1971 no.26. Note: Plate 22 from the artist's 'Original Views of London as It Is', 1842. Temple Bar, designed by Wren and erected in 1670-72, was removed in 1878-79. Behind it rises the tower of St Dunstan's-in-the-West.
