Framed 39 x 47cm The painting is executed in oil on artists’ board with an artist’s supplier stamp for Lechertier, Bare & Co. London. The paint layers are in a good, stable condition overall. Horizontal stress cracks have formed in the upper right corner of the painting. Localised drying cracks in the sky have been overpainted, in some areas the overpaint has become pale. The varnish layer is glossy and even but has yellowed with age. The frame is glazed and the glass is dirty inside and out.
