William Fristche was one of two principle engravers from the firm of Thomas Webb & Sons in the late 1870's and is considered one of the finest engravers/cutters of the late 19th century. His work was based on the earlier 17th century Bohemian decoration of “Hochschnitt” which is revered today. He was responsible for producing some of the most extraordinary “carved rock crystal” that the firm ever produced.
Condition Report: Very good overall condition with minor in-use wear on the underside.
