Three 19th and 20th Century Continental Porcelain Vases

Three 19th and 20th Century Continental Porcelain Vases Handpainted and with Gilding. The first: a French globular vase with green ground, painted with fruit and flowers on a marble slab within an etched gilt band, sounded by white and gold floral wreath, gilt bands to rim and foot. The second: a French baluster-form vase with two floral-spray handles to the sides, decorated with green-ground bands bracketting an extensive scene of Fisherwomen by a stream painted with polychrome enamels. Parcel gilding to handles; and gilt bands to rims, foot, neck and waisted base. The third: a Continental vase of Neo-Classical form, with bisque porcelain mask-head handles, with a pale blue ground bracketing a scene of stylish women at pursuits, standing near a column, and one holding a parasol in a garden. Gilt metal scallop shell applied to neck, and with a gilt metal hexagonal-shaped base. Iron red '3' to the first; impressed 1510 to the second. The third, as mounted, does not have visible marks. France, and possibly French or Italian. Circa 1840, the first; the second, circa 1860, and the third, circa 1950 after an 1825 original. 13 1/2" H. to 19" H. On the first vase, half of the mouth broke off and has been reglued and overpainted, the repair now visible. A 2 1/4" long section of the rim of the second vase broken off and taped into place. The third vase is drilled, with the rod right to the top, and now just above a brass rim cap. Wear to parcel gilding, on handles, of second example.
