Three Chinese Agate and Crystal Snuff Bottles, 19th C.

A group of three Chinese snuff bottles made of agate or crystal dating from the 19th century.. All the snuff bottles are rectangular in shape. One bottle is made of agate, and the other two are made of crystal. Two of the bottles have stoppers, one of which has the spoon attached and the other with the spoon detached.

Dimensions are: the largest bottle measures 2 3/8 inches tall X 1 5/8 inches wide, 6 cm X 4.1 cm. All measurements are approximate.

Condition: All the snuff bottles have chipping throughout. One bottle has a star crack to the body.

Provenance: From the estate of Mr. Mullen in Upstate New York. Mr. Mullen was a world traveler and collected from different countries from the 1950s to the 1980s.
