The first with slightly curved fullered blade (old rust patination) double-edged at the point, regulation gilt-brass hilt pierced with flowering foliate scrolls and stamped 'TOURON' behind the scrolled quillon, and wire-bound dark horn grip, in its brass-mounted leather scabbard (broken above the lower suspension mount) with two rings for suspension; the second with slightly curved bright fullered blade etched with Chatellerault manufactory details along the back at the forte (some surface rust), regulation brass hilt, and wire-bound dark horn grip, in original steel scabbard (some rust patination) with two rings for suspension; the last of similar form, the back of the blade at the forte engraved 'Chatellerault 1870', regulation brass hilt retaining some gilding, and wire-bound dark horn grip, in original steel scabbard with two rings for suspension (3)
