Three French, Dutch and English Sterling Silver Objets de Vertu, Mid-Nineteenth to Early Twentieth Century. Comprising a French figural whistle and bell chatelaine, Charles Kunslers, 1892-1919, the hanging ring suspending a pierced roundel and bell, and two chains composed of rings and pierced panels, each attached to a frieze cast with a putto and urn affixed to a bar suspending a mermaid peering into a mirror, fitted with five suspension rings, maker's mark of the initials "CK" centering a bull into a diamond on the ring, pierced section of chain and back of pierced scrollwork frieze above mermaid, and silver boar's head guarantee mark on hanging ring; a Dutch envelope-shaped stamp case or box, repousse on the cover with a group of men in a tavern room, single sword mark on the cover and exterior side; and a Victorian calling card case, Birmingham, Joseph Taylor & John Perry, 1847. 5.08 troy oz. total Chatelaine: H: 7.5 in., W: 3.5 in., D: .5 in.
