General oxidation to the gilt-bronze. Cover does not close completely flat. Portrait with a horizontal surface scratch across the hat (3/8"), another from her hair across her nose (7/8") and across her sleeve/bodice (1/2"). The sage velvet-lined interior exhibits wear at the edges and very scattered small discolorations.
