Three French Provincial Walnut Nightstands, 19th c., the tallest with a dished top, above a single drawer over a cabinet door, on tapered legs with brass caps; accompanied by a three-drawer example, on tapered legs with brass caps; together with a third example with a dished top, over a single drawer above a scalloped apron, the tapered legs joined by a medial stretcher shelf, Tallest- H.- 34 in., W.- 15 1/2 in., D.- 15 in.; Shortest- H.- 28 in., W.- 19 in., D.- 13 1/2 in.
Condition Report: All three structurally sound. Loose trim on top of tallest. Finish with marking, areas of toning, and moisture in finishes. Scattered shrinkages. Overall chips, nicks, marks, abrasions, indentations and imperfections consistent with age and use. Shortest with rear foot loss from inactive worming.
