Three George IV antique sterling silver snuff boxes, one Birmingham 1827 by Ledsam, Vale & Wheeler
Of rectangular form with chased foliate rims, with basket-weave engine turned decoration throughout, the lid initialled C B I gothic script. Gilt interior, inscribed E.P to C.B, fully marked between cover and base interior. Together with a smaller example with foliate thumbpiece, later inscription inside, Birmingham 1824 by John Thropp, and another smaller example Birmingham 1825 by John Thropp. (3)
