Three German Porcelain Oval Shaped Soup Tureens Including Meissen. Comprising a Meissen Blue Onion pattern tureen, Nymphenburg tureen moulded with lemon form knop to cover, and a Meissen style tureen painted with courtship scenes on the pink ground. Blue onion tureen with crossed swords mark and '77'; Meissen style tureen with crossed swords mark bearing two strike marks '2' inscribed and '31' impressed; Nymphenburg tureen marked with green mark. {Approximate dimensions: 9 1/2 - 10 1/4 inches high.}. Condition: Light rubbing and loss to gilt. Light wear overall. The Meissen style tureen is identical in form to the Blue Onion tureen. Most likely this has been outside-decorated and sold through another retailer.
