Three Gold and Carved Cameo Brooches and a Ring, Nineteenth Century. The first finely carved with the figure of 'Hope' standing beside an anchor, the 22k+ gold frame surrounded by a guilloche border; the second depicting a bust of the Virgin Mary, the gold-filled frame chased with leaves and scrolls; the third a brooch/ pendant depicting a classical goddess, the 14k gold frame engraved with scrolled leaves; the 14k gold ring depicting a classical portrait, within a beaded surround, size 4 1/2. First cameo brooch: H: 2.75 in., W: 2.375 in., D: 0.5 in.
