There are losses to the white pigment along the right edge and upper right corner of the work, exposing the underlying pink pigment, potentially inherent to the artist's working method. There is surface soiling throughout, most notably in the thicker areas of impasto. There is scattered hairline cracking throughout the lower half of the composition, most notably in the green and red passages. There is scattered cracking to the thicker areas of white impasto in the upper half of the composition.
