Three Piece Set of Moon and Star Pattern Olive Green Pressed Glass Pedestal Compotes and...

A trio of mid-century pressed glass serving pieces in olive green, featuring the classic Moon and Star pattern. This motif is characterized by a textured field of raised circular indentations, or moons, each containing a central star design. The set consists of two matching pedestal compotes and one low-profile bowl. Each compote features a flared bowl with a deeply scalloped and ruffled rim, supported by a flared stem and a domed pedestal base that repeats the Moon and Star pattern. The third piece is a coordinating bonbon or brides bowl with a wide, ruffled rim and a low pedestal base. The glass is a uniform translucent olive green throughout. No maker marks or signatures are visible on any of the pieces; the underside of the bases show smooth, pressed glass construction typical of mid-20th-century production.Height: 6.5 inches (compotes)Width: 7.75 inches (compotes, measured across the rim).
