Three Stooges: Larry Fine Autograph Letter Signed
ALS, one page both sides, 6 x 7.75, February 4, 1974. Handwritten letter, in part: “You have my sympathy also my apology for being so late in answering your letter, as I am literally swamped with fan mail which I’m trying to answer in the order I receive it. I’m sorry but the autograph card is mislaid. However I’m sending you an autographed picture. There is Jean Hagen (the wife in the Danny Thomas show) here and Donald Crisp…[who] is very sick. He has been moved to a private sanitarium. He is 95 years old. I’ve taken the liberty of asking Jean Rogers to give you her autograph which is enclosed. Here is something that I think will interest you. I wrote a book called ‘Stroke of Luck’…It will not be sold in Bookstores, but by mail-order only, so if you would like to buy it, here’s how. Please send $7.95 in check or money order to ‘Larry’ · P.O. Box 313 Hollywood Cal. 90028 Thank you.” In fine condition.
