The first of shaft and globe form and of dark green tint, chip engraved with a crown flanked by thistles and inscribed 'SAMUEL FORBES, TURNER, GLASGOW 1846', 21.5cms high, the second of similar form and colour, chip-engraved 'DOUGALD MAC CALLUM, 1846', a thistle plant and a snuff mull, 23.5cm high, the third also of similar form, chip-engraved with a rose and thistle spray and inscribed 'JANET HEWIT 1842', 20cm high.
