England or America, one dated 1788
All of marquise form, the first, depicting man leaning on plinth with skull and crossbones and topped with covered urn, seed pearl surround, the reverse fitted with pin and loop attachment; the second, with shepherdess and sheep, fitted with loop attachment; the third, with woman lamenting at urn on plinth inscribed, "In/ Memory/ of a/ Friend," the reverse inscribed, "Jane/ McCarthy/ Obit June/ 1788/ AE 41" and fitted with pin; together with two hairwork pins/pendants.
