THREE OPERA SCENES.

Origin: China. Canton.
Dynasty: Qing dynasty (1644-1911).
Maker/Designer: In the style of the Atelier of Tingqua (ca. 1809-1870).
Technique: Very fine painting with pigments on pith mark (Tetrapanax papyrifer).
Description: One scene shows a group of attackers against a fighter with halberd. Two other scenes show fighters and a female fighter in court.

The painting is extremely fine and skillful with rich details. The faces are captured with vivid expression.
Measurement: Each 20.5 x 32cm.
Frame/Pedestal: Gilt frame with glass.
Condition B. A few damages, cracks and spots.
