Tibetan Bronze Lama/Monk. Expressive face.
This piece is a Tibetan bronze lama or teacher. It came from an old east coast collection and the previous owner dated it to the late 19th century. I've gotten different opinions that have ranged from the late 18 to the 20th century. After examining carefully, I believe it is likely 20thC, though I am not sure. I leave it for you to examine the pictures closely and decide for yourself. The price reflects my uncertainty. Measures 6 1/2 inches tall x 4 1/4 inches wide x 3 inches deep.
