Tibetan altar in hand-carved wood. The front is decorated with two carved central panels with plaster and tempera applications depicting snow lions (a classic figure of iconography and official emblem of the Dalai Lama) , clouds, mountains and flowers. At the sides, the panels are decorated with a dragon surrounded by round clouds. The altar has a long drawer that can be opened on one side; the back and the sides are not decorated.
