Aesthetic sterling silver compote. Made by Tiffany & Co. in New York ca 1916. Wide and shallow bowl on baluster shaft with gadrooned knop and raised foot. Acid etched ornament. In bowl well a scroll and leaf pattern surrounding central rondel with 3-letter monogram. Leaf and dart rims. Fully marked including maker's stamp pattern no. 19176A (first produced in 1916) and director's letter m. Dimensions: H 8 3/4 x D 11 in. Weight: 31.5 troy ounces.
