Antique Tiffany Studios New York bronze dore spindle in the highly desirable Byzantine pattern. The circular weighted base is richly decorated with intricate ornament and geometric motifs characteristic of the Byzantine line, accented with coral cabochon insets. Rising from the center is a tall curved spindle hook designed for holding correspondence, receipts, memoranda, or bills. Marked "Tiffany Studios New York 963" to underside.
