The piece displays a prominent, stylized relief pattern running along the raised perimeter rim. This repeating rectangular geometric sequence draws directly from Native American geometric art and Moorish motifs, which were heavily explored during the Arts & Crafts and Art Deco design periods. It is stamped on the underside: "Tiffany Studios New York 1747".
