Iconic Italian jewelry designer, Elsa Peretti, best known for her exquisite, organic fine jewelry collections designed for Tiffany & Co., began her career as a Halston-era fashion model. With her education in interior design and architecture and her experience in the fashion industry, Peretti began creating jewelry for New York fashion designers. Her first popular design, the bottle necklace, led to her successful fragrance bottle design for Halston. Signed to Tiffany & Co. in 1974, Peretti elevated sterling silver to luxury status and earned fame with her innovative, organic designs. She designed over 30 iconic collections for the firm, including ‘Diamonds by the Yard', ‘The Bean', and ‘The Bone Cuff.'
