Tiffany & Co. Sterling Compote 1870's

Tiffany & Co. sterling compote pattern #2399, Union Square mark #1496 (used between 1870-1875). Circa 1870's. Marked on base Quality 925-1000. Compote supported by classically draped maiden standing on half dome base, mounted on 4 bucket feet adorned with faces. Two handles on sides of rim are are scrolls and leaves with face in center. Weighs 69 troy ounces. Measures 18"H x 11.5"W; base 6 3/8" x 6 3/8". Condition report: wear commensurate with age, see photos. Examine all photos closely.
