Other Notes: James W. Wallack (c.1794-1864) Anglo-American actor and manager, was born in London into a family of actors. He made his first stage appearance at Drury Lane in 1807, and in 1818 he headed to America and settled in New York. There he became both manager and actor in many of the Wallack Theatres.
