Tiffany & Co. sterling silver presentation inkstand to George Frederick Shrady, MD. Ca. 1873-1891. Hammered finish with raised ferns and botanical designs. Footed. Monogrammed "GFS" lid. Inscription to underside: George F. Shrady MD. with the high esteem and gratitude of a patient. Shrady was a prominent physician in the second half of the 19th century and cared for Ulysses S.
