Tiger Stadium Final Game Ticket And Program Lot

Navin Field opened on April 20, 1912, the same day as the Boston Red Sox's Fenway Park. "Shoeless" Joe Jackson, not Ty Cobb, would score the first run at Navin Field. Over the coming decades the stadium would be expanded and the name changed to Briggs Stadium and later Tigers Stadium. The stadium would also survive a pressbox fire. Unfortunately age caught up with this grand lady and it would close for good after the 1999 season. This lot contains 5 programs from the final regular season game at Tiger Stadium played on September 27, 1999. All 5 programs have the embossed stamp at the bottom. One program has signatures from John Hiller, Alan Trammell, and George Kell on the inside pages. Another program has signatures from Mickey Lolich, John Hiller, Bill Freehan, Alan Trammell, George Kell, and Kirk Gibson. In addition to the 5 programs, there are also 13 unscored scorecards from the final regular season game. All 13 of the scorecards have the embossed stamp at the bottom.
