Santerno Ceramica, founded in 1968 in Casalfiumanese near Imola (BO) , was a company producing ceramic surfaces that in the 1970s launched an art collection, in a limited series, characterized by the strong graphic impact of important artists.

Maurice Henry (1907 – 1984) was a French poet and painter. Known for his artistic versatility and his significant contribution to the Surrealist movement. As a poet, he wrote works that blend reality and imagination, exploring deep and complex themes through his poetic writing. As a painter, he created works of art ranging from surrealist paintings to intricate and provocative drawings.

His artistic work was influenced by important figures of Surrealism such as André Breton and Salvador Dalí, and helped shape the French artistic landscape of the period.
