Titanic 1912 Commemorative Brass Bell

11 x 12 inches. A commemorative nautical bell cast in heavy brass with a matching wall-mounting bracket. The bell features a tapered waist and a flared sound bow. The waist is incised with two rectangular borders: the upper contains the text TITANIC in sans-serif capital letters, and the lower contains the date 1912. The bell is equipped with a swinging internal clapper attached to a loop, though the pull cord is not present. The mounting hardware consists of a curved arm that terminates in a rectangular wall plate with four pre-drilled mounting holes. The interior of the bell shows the raw cast finish of the metal and the clapper attachment point.
