With an autograph, signed by Ford, on Ford's personal stationery, to Kagan, laid in, "Dear Vladimir,/I am sorry that/this took so long but/my shipment of books/must have been the absolute/last to arrive./Thank you by the way for/your beautiful book -- it/is great, you should be/proud./I do hope that you and/Erica are well and that we/might actually see each other/in 2005./Richard and I send our/best wishes for the holiday/and much love,/Tom." Profusely illustrated with full page color photographic reproductions of Ford's work. Original black cloth, stamped in white; all edges trimmed; spine faded; in original black cloth slipcase, unevenly faded.
