1961, I listen to Rock: Fats Domino, Elvis Presley, Chuck Berry, Buddy Holly, Tommy Steele and I go to Golf-Drouot, we find there in front of the jukebox: Johnny Hallyday, Eddy Mitchell, Long Chris and his Daltons , this will be my first record cover. At the same time I infiltrated the roofs of the Olympia to see and try to photograph the Louis Armstrong show: kicked out by the 4 or 5 pros, I managed to enter backstage, then into Armstrong's dressing room: first press publication on the front page of a major daily newspaper. After a few collaborations with Music Hall magazines (term at the time for Show-bizz) and record covers, I joined the Salut les Copains team in 1964/65. We live from our passions (I repeat: photography and music) . We don't feel like we're doing real work
