Biography: Toon Kelder belongs to the painters that, at the beginning of the 20th century, developed their own style under the influence of the avantgarde painters in France. Toon Kelder continued to renew his style over the course of his career. In the 1920s, he painted flower still lifes, figures and nudes expressively (Bergen School) .
