Tourism in Netherland India was published in the 1930s by the Travelers Official Information Bureau of Netherland Indies to promote tourism to the Dutch East Indies. The magazine was packed with photos of tourist destinations and advertisements for hotels, excursions, train, boat and air travel. Each part deals with a specific theme, for example theme issues are about Indonesian arts and crafts, such as wood carving and silverwork, but also plants and animal life, etc.
