Tourmaline Himalaya Mine (Himalaya dikes; Himalaya pegmatite) Gem Hill, Mesa Grande District, San Diego Co. California, USA This appealing little Tourmaline group consists of four interconnected crystals with wonderful pink color. The two largest crystals surround cores of dark green. The elongated crystals are nicely striated, and the sides of the piece feature several Lepidolite clusters. This specimen exhibits excellent luster and is from the classic locality of the Himalaya Mine in San Diego. This Elbaite cluster exhibits pleasant slick terminations. Overall Measurements: 3.03 x 2.82 x 1.26 inches (7.70 x 7.17 x 3.20 cm) Provenance: Central Coast Collection [Scale: 1 inch, with mark at 1 cm]
