A turn of the century French "Town Crier" Automaton mantle clock. 30 hr time and alarm movement with platform escapement. Cast Spelter figural case depicts a Town Crier with a Torch in his right hand and a Bell in his left which raises and rings when the alarm is activated. Old finish with Gilded detail.
