[ translate ]

Property from a Private Californian Collection
Henri Le Sidaner
1862 - 1939
Trafalgar Square, Londres

signed LE SIDANER (lower left)
oil on canvas
79 by 100.8cm., 31⅛ by 39⅝ in.
Framed: 102.6 by 127cm., 40⅜ by 50in.
Painted in 1908.

Condition Report:
The canvas is not lined. Inspection under UV light reveals some intermittent lines and spots of retouching to the extreme left, upper and right edges and a fleck approx. 10cm from the upper right corner. There is some wear (including some small holes and tears) to the framing edges of the canvas, none of which are visible when framed. The canvas has come away from several of the tacking pins and the work might benefit from being further secured to the stretcher in the near future. There are fine lines of craquelure to parts of the sky. There is some light surface dirt in places. There are some tiny gold accretions to parts of the extreme lower edge, not visible when framed. This work is in overall good condition.

Condition 11 of the Conditions of Business for Buyers (Online Only) is not applicable to this lot.
